Bashar participated in the prestigious “Mazamir Dawood” international Quran recitation competition, organized by the Algerian private media outlet Echorouk. The event, which ran from August 18 to 31, featured participants from over 15 countries.

By clinching the fourth position, Bashar earned a prize of $1,500, marking a significant accomplishment on the global stage. The competition, hosted annually by Echorouk, celebrates the talents of young Quran reciters from around the world.

In addition to this event, Algeria’s Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments also organizes an international Quran recitation contest each year under the patronage of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, further highlighting the country’s commitment to promoting Quranic recitation on a global scale.
