Heated Exchange Between Aleema Khan and PTI Lawyers Outside Adiala Jail

Rawalpindi: A verbal spat reportedly broke out between Aleema Khan, sister of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawyers outside Central Jail Rawalpindi, commonly known as Adiala Jail, on Tuesday.

The altercation occurred after Aleema Khan visited her incarcerated brother and subsequently engaged with PTI lawyers at the prison entrance. During the encounter, she asserted that only those advocates designated by the party would be permitted to meet the imprisoned PTI founder.

Following the incident, PTI lawyer Naeem Haider Panjutha raised concerns about Aleema Khan’s behavior with Imran Khan. According to sources, the former premier took note of the situation and expressed displeasure over the confrontation. He reportedly assured the lawyers that he would instruct Aleema Khan to avoid such arguments in the future.

The incident underscores internal tensions within PTI as its legal team continues to advocate for Imran Khan’s release amid his ongoing legal battles.
