Suicide Blast Targets FC Convoy in Balochistan, Six Martyred

At least six people, including three Frontier Corps (FC) personnel, were martyred in a suicide blast targeting an FC convoy in Naushki, Balochistan. The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for the attack.

According to security sources, the attack occurred when a suicide bomber detonated himself near the convoy. In response, security forces swiftly engaged the attackers, killing three terrorists in the ensuing operation, in addition to the suicide bomber.

Following the attack, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a clearance operation to ensure no militants escape. Authorities have blocked all exit routes, vowing to continue the operation until the last terrorist is eliminated.

This incident comes amid rising security concerns in Balochistan. Just earlier, a policeman was martyred and six others injured in a roadside blast in Quetta on Saturday. Police reported that the explosion occurred on Barori Road in the Karani area, targeting an Anti-Terrorism Force (ATF) vehicle that was patrolling the region.

Authorities are on high alert as security operations continue across the province to neutralize terrorist threats.
