In Peshawar, unidentified attackers targeted the Malazai checkpost of the Regi police station with a hand grenade. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, and a search operation was initiated to apprehend the perpetrators.
In Lakki Marwat, terrorists launched a coordinated attack on the Gambila Police Station from two directions. However, the Quick Response Force (QRF) swiftly retaliated, forcing the attackers to flee after a 15-minute exchange of gunfire. District Police Officer (DPO) Jawwad Ishaq confirmed that no casualties were reported.
Meanwhile, militants targeted a Bara Rifles security checkpoint on the Jamrud Bypass in Khyber, where security personnel successfully repelled the assault. Two security personnel sustained injuries in the firefight, prompting authorities to launch a search operation in the area.
In counterterrorism operations, security forces eliminated two terrorists in Lakki Marwat and Karak. Following their retreat, militants launched another attack on the Abbas Khatak checkpost.
In Tank, police forces killed one terrorist and injured several others in retaliation after an attack on the Nasran checkpost. Additionally, security forces in Karak neutralized terrorist commander Kashif Shakar Khel, affiliated with the Kaleemullah group.
