Asjad Iqbal Secures Spot in Final After Dominating Victory Over India’s Malkeet Singh at World Six Red Snooker Championship
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia: Pakistan’s Asjad Iqbal delivered an exceptional performance in the semi-finals of the IBSF World Six Red Snooker Championship, defeating India’s Malkeet Singh with a stunning 6-0 scoreline. This impressive victory on Tuesday earned Iqbal a place in the final.
Iqbal showcased his skill by dominating each frame of the match, starting with a solid 49-18 win in the first frame. He continued to dismantle Singh’s defenses, winning the subsequent frames with scores of 38-34, 46-13, 40-31, 52-13, and concluding the match with a clean sweep of 45-0 in the sixth frame. His remarkable form was underscored by a 40-point break in the final frame, further demonstrating his control over the game.
Throughout the match, Singh struggled to mount any significant challenge, failing to secure a single frame as Iqbal maintained relentless pressure from start to finish.
In the quarter-finals, Iqbal had previously defeated Cyprus’ Michael Georgiou 5-2, paving the way for his semi-final success. With this emphatic win, Iqbal now advances to the final, where he is considered a strong contender for the title.
