New CCTV Footage Reveals Details of Karsaz Accident That Killed Father and Daughter

KARACHI: New CCTV footage has surfaced, shedding light on the tragic accident in Karsaz that resulted in the deaths of a father and daughter. The incident involved a speeding SUV that struck 26-year-old Aamna Arif and her 60-year-old father, Imran Arif, as they were riding a motorcycle.

The footage shows the luxury SUV speeding down a service lane moments before the collision. The vehicle, driven by a woman identified as “Natasha” in the First Information Report (FIR), briefly slowed down when another car approached from the opposite direction.

However, the SUV then veered left and quickly swerved right, hitting the motorcycle and causing the riders to fall onto the street.

Following the incident, Natasha was arrested and has been placed in jail on judicial remand.

The new video footage corroborates earlier recordings, providing a clearer picture of the events leading up to the fatal crash. The incident has raised serious concerns about road safety and reckless driving in the city.
