YouTuber Aun Ali Khosa, Creator of ‘Bill Bill Pakistan,’ Safely Returns Home

LAHORE – Aun Ali Khosa, the popular YouTuber known for his satirical song “Bill Bill Pakistan,” has safely returned home, his lawyer confirmed on Monday.

“Alhamdulillah, he is courageous, safe, and determined,” said Mian Ali Ashfaq, Khosa’s lawyer, in a post on X (formerly Twitter). “May Allah bless him and his family every step of the way.”

Khosa’s return follows a directive from the Lahore High Court (LHC) last Friday, which ordered the Lahore police to ensure his recovery by August 20. The court’s order came in response to a petition filed by Khosa’s wife, Binish Iqbal, who alleged that her husband was being held in “unlawful and illegal custody.”

The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) had expressed concern over Khosa’s alleged abduction, suggesting that it might be connected to his work as a satirist. The HRCP had called for his immediate recovery, highlighting the importance of safeguarding freedom of expression.

Khosa’s safe return marks the end of a distressing ordeal, as his family and supporters had been anxiously awaiting news of his well-being.
