Bollywood Star Saif Ali Khan Hospitalized After Burglary Attack at Mumbai Residence

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is undergoing surgery after being stabbed during an attempted burglary at his Bandra residence in Mumbai. The attack occurred in the children’s room, where the Adipurush star confronted the burglars, Indian media reported.

Saif sustained six stab wounds, with injuries to his neck and spine. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital and Research Center at 3:30 AM, where the Chief Operating Officer confirmed two serious injuries, including one near his spine.

Fortunately, Saif’s wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and their children escaped unharmed.

“There was an attempted burglary at Mr. Saif Ali Khan’s residence,” a statement from the actor’s team read. “He is currently in hospital undergoing surgery. We request the media and fans to be patient. It is a police matter, and we will keep you updated on the situation.”

Kareena Kapoor Khan also issued a statement reassuring fans:
“There was an attempted burglary in our residence last night. Saif sustained an injury on his arm for which he is in hospital undergoing a procedure. The rest of the family is fine. We request the media and fans to respect our privacy and avoid speculation while the police carry out their investigations.”
