Pakistan Logs 2795 Dengue Cases Over Past Week
Pakistan is witnessing a surge in dengue cases, with a total of 2,795 new infections reported over the past week.
Sources within the National Institute of Health (NIH) attribute this rapid increase to rising temperatures across the country.
Among the provinces, Balochistan has been the hardest hit, reporting 1,728 dengue cases during this period. Punjab follows with 916 cases, while Sindh recorded 116 cases, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reported 34 cases.
Azad Jammu and Kashmir registered a single case of dengue, while there were no reported cases in Gilgit Baltistan and Islamabad during the same week, as per the sources.
