Two Terrorists Killed in Bannu Police Encounter
Two terrorists involved in the killing of a police officer in Bannu were shot dead in an operation by law enforcement.
The confrontation occurred in the Shah Deo area, where the terrorists initially opened fire on police officers, fatally wounding one and injuring another. Following the attack, the assailants fled and sought refuge in a nearby house.
In response, the police launched an operation to apprehend the suspects, surrounding the house and engaging the terrorists in a gunfight. Both terrorists were killed during the exchange of fire.
Weapons were recovered from the deceased individuals, and their bodies were shifted to a hospital for medico-legal formalities. The injured police officer is undergoing treatment, and authorities have not disclosed further details about the operation.
