Karachi School Introduces Pakistan’s First AI-Powered Teacher
A private school in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal area has launched Pakistan’s first AI-powered teacher, named “Ainee,” marking a groundbreaking development in the country’s education sector.
Ainee is designed to assist with subjects for grade 5, including mathematics, science, and languages. The AI teacher is equipped to respond to student queries, track individual progress, and tailor lessons to match varying learning speeds, providing a personalized educational experience.
This initiative leverages cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology to enhance teaching methodologies, aiming to bridge educational gaps and foster interactive learning environments for students.
This milestone follows another recent AI-based innovation in Pakistan. In October, the Heart Line Chatbot, powered by artificial intelligence, was introduced during the 27th Annual Conference of the Pakistan Hypertension League (PHL). The chatbot, developed under the Discovering Hypertension project, supports the 32.5 million hypertension patients in the country by offering guidance from basic health information to treatment options.
These advancements highlight Pakistan’s growing adoption of AI technologies across diverse sectors, from education to healthcare, aimed at addressing critical challenges and improving lives.
