Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Calls for National Prayers for Rain Amid Dry Spell

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday appealed to the nation to perform Namaz-e-Istisqa, a special prayer for rain, urging everyone to seek Allah’s mercy for rainfall to alleviate the current dry conditions.

In a statement from the PM Office, the prime minister called upon federal and provincial governments to arrange Namaz-e-Istisqa in mosques across the country. He specifically encouraged religious scholars and community leaders to take an active role in organizing and leading these prayers.

The prime minister emphasized that rainfall would not only improve environmental conditions but also help reduce the spread of diseases exacerbated by the dry weather. He underscored the urgent need for Baran-e-Rehmat (rain) and appealed to the nation to come together in prayer to seek relief from these challenging conditions.
