Terrorist Attack on FC Vehicle in Dera Ismail Khan Claims Lives of Two Soldiers

A Frontier Constabulary (FC) vehicle was attacked by terrorists within the jurisdiction of Daraban police station in Dera Ismail Khan on Tuesday, resulting in the tragic loss of two soldiers. According to a statement from the Ministry of Interior, two FC personnel, Sepoy Sher Rehman and Sepoy Syed Ameen, embraced martyrdom, while four others were injured in the assault.

The statement noted that FC soldiers courageously defended themselves against the attack, which was attributed to Khwarji terrorists. Sepoy Sher Rehman was a resident of South Waziristan, while Sepoy Syed Ameen hailed from Gadoon, Swabi.

The injured soldiers, identified as Havaldar Imtiaz, Sepoy Muhib Shah, Sepoy Sahib Din, and Sepoy Fazal Kareem, were promptly taken to a hospital for medical care.

Expressing the FC’s steadfast resolve, a Ministry of Interior spokesperson stated, “The Frontier Constabulary remains resolute in its mission to thwart the malicious intentions of terrorists. The sacrifices of FC soldiers exemplify unwavering commitment in the fight against terrorism.”

The attack underscores ongoing challenges in the region and highlights the sacrifices made by security personnel in protecting the nation.
