Armed Robbers Steal Four Pizzas from Delivery Boy

Faisalabad police reported an unusual case of armed robbery on Sunday when two unidentified men stole four pizzas from a delivery boy at gunpoint. According to authorities, the suspects placed a late-night order, requesting four pizzas to be delivered to Kehkashan Colony Street No. 1.

When the delivery boy, identified as Usman, arrived at the specified location, he was approached by two men on a motorcycle. The men held him at gunpoint and took the pizzas before fleeing. A case of “pizza robbery” has been registered at Saddar Police Station, and police are investigating to identify the suspects.

This incident follows a similar pizza theft in Faisalabad’s Sufyan Town, where pizzas valued at Rs1,800 were also stolen recently.

The crime echoes another unusual incident from 2020 in Karachi, where a video went viral of two robbers initially mugging a delivery boy, only to return his belongings after the visibly distressed worker broke into tears. The clip showed the robbers returning the stolen valuables and embracing the shaken delivery boy.

Such incidents highlight the unique challenges faced by delivery workers and the need for enhanced security measures to protect them from both common and unusual forms of crime.
