Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Condemns Attack on Ex-CJP Qazi Faez Isa’s Car in London

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has condemned the recent attack on former Chief Justice of Pakistan, Qazi Faez Isa’s vehicle in London.

Naqvi directed the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to identify the assailants and confirmed that a Pakistani High Commission vehicle was also targeted.

In his response, Naqvi questioned the absence of security for Qazi Isa, despite prior threats, and insisted on using available footage to identify the attackers, pledging legal actions.

He stated that an FIR would be filed in Pakistan, with measures to block the attackers’ identity cards, revoke their passports, and initiate procedures to strip them of their Pakistani citizenship, pending cabinet approval.

The incident involved PTI activists attempting to obstruct Qazi Isa’s vehicle, even attempting to break its windows, as they ran alongside chanting slogans. Qazi Isa was en route to a ceremony at the Middle Temple when the attack occurred.
