PTI Leader Salman Akram Raja Calls for Bail for Party Founder, Dismisses ‘Deal’ Allegations

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Salman Akram Raja has urged the judiciary to extend bail to the PTI’s Founder, similar to the recent bail granted to Bushra Bibi.

Speaking to the media, Raja emphasized that legal decisions should not be misconstrued as part of any “deal,” asserting that there is no substantial basis for such allegations.

“I was personally charged in seven terrorism cases within a span of three weeks,” he remarked, underlining the challenges faced by PTI leadership.

Addressing questions about potential alliances, Raja refuted any suggestion that PTI’s Founder would support Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto as the next prime minister.

“The PTI’s Founder will not endorse any undemocratic action,” he affirmed.

“The people have delivered a democratic mandate in favor of PTI, and we will uphold their will without compromise,” he concluded.
