IED Blast in Buner Injures Three Police Personnel

An improvised explosive device (IED) detonated near a police mobile unit in Ambela, injuring three police officers.

District Police Officer (DPO) Shah Hassan Khan confirmed the incident, stating that the area has been cordoned off as authorities conduct investigations. The injured personnel were promptly transferred to the District Headquarters Hospital in Daggar for treatment.

This attack follows a similar incident earlier in the day on Malam Jabba Road in Swat, where four police officers were injured in a blast targeting their vehicle in the Jahanabad area. The police are still determining the intensity of the explosion, and the site has been secured for further examination.

In a separate and tragic incident, two police officers were martyred in Kuchlak, Quetta, when a blast struck their vehicle on Bostan Road. The area was quickly sealed off, and an investigation into the attack has begun.

These incidents highlight the rising security challenges faced by law enforcement in various parts of the country, with authorities intensifying efforts to ensure public safety.
