PIA Flight from Dubai to Multan Aborts Takeoff Due to Technical Issues

A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight traveling from Dubai to Multan faced a critical incident when all tires of the Airbus A320 burst during takeoff. The flight, carrying 172 passengers, was forced to halt its departure after a warning of an engine malfunction was triggered.

As the aircraft accelerated down the runway, the captain promptly activated the emergency braking system, successfully bringing the plane to a safe stop. However, the sudden braking resulted in the bursting of all tires, prompting the immediate transfer of passengers to the airport lounge for their safety.

To address the technical issues, PIA’s engineering department dispatched a team from Karachi to Dubai, scheduled to arrive on a flight tonight. In the meantime, the airline has arranged alternative travel for the affected passengers. Some will be accommodated on PIA flight PK 204 from Dubai to Lahore, while others will be rerouted from Sharjah to Multan.

PIA management is prioritizing the comfort and safety of its passengers during this unforeseen disruption.
