Pakistan Dispatches 10th Relief Consignment for Gaza

Islamabad – Pakistan sent its 10th relief consignment on Sunday, delivering crucial medical supplies to the people of Gaza. According to a spokesperson from the Foreign Office, the shipment, consisting of 40 tons of essential medicines, was dispatched from Karachi International Airport.

The relief items were loaded onto a chartered freighter aircraft, an A300, destined for Amman, Jordan, from where they will be transferred to Gaza. This effort is part of Pakistan’s ongoing humanitarian mission to provide aid to the war-torn region.

The send-off ceremony in Karachi was attended by notable figures, including MNA Dr. Darshan, representatives from the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), and officials from the Alkhidmat Foundation. During the event, speakers highlighted the importance of solidarity and humanitarian support in times of crisis.

With this latest shipment, the total amount of relief aid sent by Pakistan to Gaza now stands at 1,151 tons, demonstrating the country’s sustained commitment to aiding those affected by the conflict.

In a related development, the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has approved special permission for medical and dental students from Gaza to complete their education in Pakistan. The decision was made following a request from the Pakistani High Commissioner in London. A special committee, chaired by the President of PMDC and including representatives from the Ministries of Health and Foreign Affairs, has been formed to oversee the integration and education of these students.
