Dr. Zakir Naik and Sheikh Fariq Naik to Visit Pakistan at Government’s Invitation

Renowned Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik, along with Sheikh Faruk Naik, has officially announced their visit to Pakistan later this year. The visit comes at the invitation of the Government of Pakistan, as confirmed through Dr. Zakir Naik’s official social media accounts.

The scholars are scheduled to address audiences in three major cities:

  • Karachi: October 5-6
  • Lahore: October 12-13
  • Islamabad: October 19-20

This visit marks a significant moment for Dr. Zakir Naik, who had previously expressed his desire to visit Pakistan during an interview with a Pakistani YouTuber. He initially planned to visit in 2020 but was unable to do so due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the interview, Dr. Zakir Naik addressed the question of why he chose to migrate to Malaysia instead of Pakistan when he left India. He explained that while it would have been easier for him to move to Pakistan, as he was already well-known there, his decision was guided by a principle in Shariah. He emphasized that sometimes, it is necessary to accept a smaller loss to avoid a larger one.

Dr. Zakir Naik’s visit is highly anticipated, and his speeches in Pakistan are expected to draw large crowds in all three cities.
