Hira Khan Exposes Casting Scam: Director’s Unusual Demands and Late-Night Audition

Pakistani actress Hira Khan has opened up about a troubling casting scam she encountered, involving a director who made inappropriate demands for an audition. In a recent interview with a digital magazine, Khan recounted the experience that took place while she was working on the popular drama Mere Humsafar.

Khan shared that she was informed by a coworker about a casting call from a prominent director. Eager to explore the opportunity, she requested the contact details and reached out to the director. Surprisingly, the director did not ask for her previous work but only for two photos, stating that the casting would be based solely on the audition.

Initially, Khan agreed to the audition but requested a time of 3 pm. However, the director insisted on a late-night slot at 11 pm and specified that the audition would be private, with just him and the producer present. He also requested that she wear a sleeveless, cropped top and shorts.

Refusing to comply with the inappropriate dress code, Khan ended the call, stating, “I don’t wear such revealing clothes on screen.” Subsequently, she learned from others that the casting call was indeed a scam.

Khan’s experience serves as a cautionary tale about the potential pitfalls in the entertainment industry and highlights the need for vigilance against such unethical practices.
