Utility Stores Slash Prices on Over 800 Essential Items

ISLAMABAD: The Utility Stores Corporation has announced a significant reduction in prices of more than 800 essential household items, including ghee, cooking oil, tea, and other daily necessities.

According to a spokesperson for the corporation, the price cuts range from Rs8 to Rs60 per item, depending on the product. The price reduction applies to a variety of brands offering products such as ghee, cooking oil, tea, detergent, noodles, ketchup, tetra pack milk, dry milk, spices, pickles, soap, toothpaste, and more.

The new prices have been notified and are effective starting today.

While the subsidy under the Benazir Income Support Program is currently suspended, the spokesperson confirmed that it will be reinstated soon with a revised mechanism. In the meantime, consumers can shop at Utility Stores without any hassle or special conditions. Efforts are ongoing to reduce the prices of additional items.
