Nawaz Sharif Promises Further Relief for Electricity Consumers
Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has pledged to provide additional relief to Pakistan’s electricity consumers.
Speaking at an event in Lahore, Sharif criticized the previous PTI government’s policies, accusing them of burdening the public with high electricity costs and inflation.
Sharif emphasized that the Pakistan Muslim League (N) is the only party that has consistently offered relief to the public during challenging times. He reiterated that stabilizing the economy remains his top priority, vowing to take all necessary steps to reduce electricity bills and strengthen the nation’s financial health.
He also highlighted that his party has already provided relief to domestic electricity consumers and is now focusing on finding solutions for industrial consumers. The party leadership stressed that true leadership is about providing relief to the people, and they are committed to continuing their efforts in this direction.
