Imran Khan Rules Out Reinstating PTI Members Who Left During Difficult Times

Islamabad, Pakistan – PTI founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has made it clear that there is no place in the party for those who abandoned it during challenging times. In an informal conversation with journalists, Khan stated that he is fully aware of who left the party, though he acknowledged that some individuals stood by PTI during tough periods but eventually left due to external pressures.

Without naming specific individuals, Khan emphasized that he would not reintegrate those who decisively parted ways with the party. However, he offered reassurance to those who remained loyal, stating that their dedication during difficult times will not be forgotten.

This statement comes after several PTI leaders departed following the violent protests on May 9, sparked by Khan’s arrest.

Earlier, PTI spokesperson Raoof Hasan indicated that Imran Khan would make decisions about the return of former members after his release. Hasan specifically mentioned that Fawad Chaudhry currently has no place in the party, downplaying concerns about Chaudhry’s potential return by emphasizing the importance of the agenda behind such a move.

Fawad Chaudhry had previously expressed frustration, claiming that a small group of individuals, including newcomers like Raoof Hasan, had taken control of PTI.
