Security Forces Neutralize Five Terrorists in Balochistan Operations

Balochistan, Pakistan – At least five terrorists were killed and three others injured during separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) carried out by security forces in Balochistan’s Districts of Kech, Panjgur, and Zhob, according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday.

The ISPR reported that these extensive operations are part of an ongoing effort to track down the perpetrators responsible for recent terrorist attacks that targeted innocent civilians across Balochistan on August 26.

The military’s media wing detailed that, during the night of August 29-30, three separate IBOs were conducted in Kech, Panjgur, and Zhob districts. In these operations, five terrorists were “sent to hell,” while three others sustained injuries in intense exchanges of fire with security forces.

The statement emphasized that the sanitization operations will continue until all those involved in these heinous acts, including perpetrators, facilitators, and abettors, are brought to justice. The ISPR reaffirmed the commitment of the security forces, in solidarity with the nation, to thwart any attempts to disrupt the peace, stability, and progress of Balochistan.

This development follows a tragic incident on Monday, where at least 23 passengers were brutally killed after being forcibly removed from buses and trucks in the Rarasham area of Balochistan’s Musakhel district.
