New Details Emerge in Karsaz Accident Case: Medical Report Reveals Presence of Banned Substance
Karachi: The ongoing investigation into the tragic Karsaz accident, which claimed the lives of a father and daughter, has taken a new turn with the release of the accused’s medical report. According to a local media outlet, ARY News, sources have disclosed that Natasha, the suspect in the case, tested positive for a banned substance.
The report, citing sources, revealed that blood and urine samples were collected from Natasha following the accident. Tests on her urine sample indicated the presence of “ice,” a prohibited drug.
The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) handling the investigation confirmed that the medical report has been kept confidential but is now part of the official investigation and will be presented in court.
Earlier, the Karachi police announced the formation of a special investigation team to probe the Karsaz accident case, which has been registered against Natasha. The tragic incident, which occurred on August 19, led to the deaths of Imran Arif, 60, and his daughter Amna Arif.
As part of the investigation, police have gathered and are closely analyzing all CCTV footage related to the incident. The findings from the footage and the medical report are expected to play a crucial role in the ongoing case.
