Local Journalist Shot Dead by Unidentified Gunmen in Ghotki, Sindh

In a tragic incident, Bachal Ghuniyo, a local journalist associated with Awaz TV, was shot dead by unidentified armed men in Rawanti, Ghotki.

The attackers fled the scene after the killing. The journalist’s body was transported to Ubauro Hospital.

Police are investigating the incident and have suggested that an old enmity might be the motive behind the killing.

This is the second such incident in Ghotki in recent months. In May, another journalist, Nasrullah Gadani, was fatally shot by unidentified assailants near Mirpur Mathelo.

Gadani was attacked while traveling to the Mirpur Mathelo Press Club and later succumbed to his injuries after being transferred to hospitals in Rahim Yar Khan and Karachi.
