Security Forces Eliminate 25 Terrorists in Successful IBOs in Tirah, Khyber District: ISPR
Security forces have killed 25 terrorists during extensive Intelligence Based Operations (IBOs) in Tirah, Khyber District, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced on Tuesday.
The operations targeted Fitna-Al-Khwarij and its affiliates, including Laskar-e-Islam and Jamat-ul-Ahrar. Based on robust intelligence, these IBOs, which commenced on August 20, 2024, have delivered significant blows to these terrorist groups.
Among those neutralized was Khwarij ring leader Abuzar, alias Saddam, who was described by the ISPR as having been “sent to hell.” In addition to the 25 terrorists killed, eleven others were injured during the operations.
The ISPR also reported that four soldiers, who fought valiantly, embraced Shahadat (martyrdom) during the course of the operations. The ISPR statement highlighted the heavy losses inflicted on Fitna Al Khwarij as a testament to the bravery and dedication of Pakistan’s security forces in their mission to eradicate terrorism from the country.
