Four SNGPL Employees Abducted in Bannu, Video Released by Kidnappers

Four employees of the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) were abducted along with their vehicle in the Bakakhel area of Bannu on Saturday.

The kidnappers have since released a video showing the abducted employees. According to reports, the armed men seized the SNGPL employees while they were en route to Syedgai after refueling their vehicle with diesel.

In the video, one of the hostages can be heard saying, “Me, Enayat, and Saleem were heading to Syedgai after loading diesel in our vehicle when armed men abducted us. They blindfolded us and took us to an unknown location.”

The hostage further pleaded with the government to meet the kidnappers’ demands to secure their release, stating, “We don’t know where we are. We request the government to accept their demands to get us free from them.”
