Blast in Balochistan’s Pishin District Claims Two Young Lives, 12 Injured
At least two children lost their lives, and 12 others, including policemen, sustained injuries following an explosion near Surkhab Chowk in Balochistan’s Pishin district on Saturday.
According to police, the explosive device had been planted in a motorcycle, resulting in the blast that damaged three vehicles in the vicinity. The injured were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Authorities, including the Counter-Terrorism Department and the Bomb Disposal Squad, quickly arrived at the scene to gather evidence and initiate an investigation into the incident.
Balochistan Government Spokesperson Shahid Rind condemned the attack, labeling it a terrorist act. He also directed the provincial health department to ensure the injured receive the best possible medical care.
