NAB Files New Toshakhana Reference Against Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi Over Rs75 Million Jewelry Set

ISLAMABAD – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has filed a new reference in the Toshakhana case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, ARY News reported on Tuesday.

The reference, submitted to an accountability court in Islamabad by Investigating Officer Mohsin Haroon and Case Officer Waqar Hassan, accuses the couple of purchasing a jewelry set from the Toshakhana and subsequently selling it. The jewelry set is valued at Rs75 million.

This development follows the Islamabad High Court’s (IHC) decision to remand Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi into judicial custody. The couple is facing scrutiny for the alleged misuse of gifts received from foreign dignitaries during their time in office.
