Sher Afzal Marwat Returns to PTI After Meeting with Imran Khan in Jail

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA Sher Afzal Marwat has rejoined the party after meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan, who is currently incarcerated, according to ARY News.

Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Marwat shared that this was his first meeting with Khan in three months. He noted that Khan warmly welcomed him, and the two discussed a range of issues.

Marwat also announced that he has been entrusted with organizing a significant public gathering on August 22. He added that PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan was present during the meeting and witnessed Khan’s directive regarding the event.

Expressing his gratitude to Khan, Marwat stated that he has resolved his differences with the party and offered an apology for any past remarks made against party leaders. He assured that his focus would now be on organizing peaceful public gatherings and steering clear of violent protests.
