Blast Targets Police Mobile in Peshawar, Injures Five, Including Two Officers
PESHAWAR – A blast targeting a police mobile on Warsak Road in Peshawar has left at least five people injured, including two police officers, according to ARY News. The injured were promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment. A bomb disposal squad has also arrived at the scene to assess the situation and ensure safety.
This incident comes just a week after a tragic attack on the Marian police station in Bannu, where a pedestrian was killed. In that attack, the Station House Officer (SHO) and four other police officers sustained injuries. The assailants fled the scene immediately following the attack, prompting a police manhunt to capture those responsible.
Authorities are investigating both incidents as part of a broader effort to address the escalating violence in the region.
