COAS Vows to Prevent Anarchy, Calls for Adherence to Shariah and Constitution

Islamabad: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir has pledged to prevent any efforts to spread anarchy in Pakistan, emphasizing that causing chaos is considered the “greatest sin in the sight of Almighty Allah.”

Addressing the National Convention of Scholars on Thursday, General Munir reiterated the Pakistan Army’s commitment to maintaining stability in the country.

“The Pakistan Army is working tirelessly to eliminate anarchy. Those who do not adhere to Shariah and the Constitution are not considered Pakistanis,” he stated.

The army chief also encouraged citizens to protest peacefully, while cautioning against the influence of criminal and smuggling mafias, which he said are supporting terrorism in the country.
