Woman Allegedly Raped, Tortured, and Murdered by Husband in Multan

MULTAN: In a harrowing incident, a 20-year-old woman named Sania Zehra was allegedly raped, tortured, and murdered by her husband, Ali Raza, in Multan.

Details of the alleged murder were posted on an Instagram page with the username @justiceforsaniazehra. The post claimed that Sania was a victim of domestic violence, stating: “Sania was a victim of domestic violence, her husband choked her first and later hanged her to portray a suicide case.”

The post further alleged that Raza killed Sania because she refused to ask her father for money and property. It also mentioned that Sania, a mother of two, was pregnant with her third child at the time of her death. Her family was not informed of her death until two days later.

Insisting that his daughter was murdered, Sania’s father said, “All the glasses and mirrors in the room were broken. The person who commits suicide does not break things. They just kill themselves. For suicide, it is necessary that one’s feet do not touch the ground. My daughter had been hanging for fourteen-plus hours.”

He addressed the Multan authorities, warning, “If the murderer is not arrested till June 13th I will create havoc in Multan and the police will be responsible for all of it.”

Further details revealed the extent of the brutality, with Raza allegedly slashing Sania’s tongue and breaking her teeth before torturing her to death. The house they lived in belonged to Sania, but her husband had been blackmailing her to sell the property and give him the money. It was also revealed that Raza had lied about his first marriage and had two daughters from that marriage as well.

As of now, Ali Raza has not been arrested. The authorities are under pressure to take swift action in this tragic case.
