PTI not planning coalition with PPP, says Barrister Gohar
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali has confirmed that the party is not planning to form a government in coalition with the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
Speaking to a local media outlet, Barrister Gohar stated, “This option was available to us on February 09,” indicating that the PTI had considered but ultimately decided against forming a coalition government with the PPP. Instead, the PTI plans to act as a strong opposition party.
Regarding the no-confidence motion, he mentioned that the party has not made any decisions yet, but the option for talks remains open.
Barrister Gohar also highlighted a recent legal victory for the PTI, as the Supreme Court of Pakistan overturned the denial of reserved seats to the party, putting an end to speculation about a potential ban on the PTI.
