Zardari Criticizes PML-N’s Inability to Manage Government Effectively
In a recent meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari, the leadership of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in Punjab voiced significant concerns regarding the lack of cooperation from both the federal and provincial governments, according to sources cited by ARY News.
During the meeting, PPP Punjab leaders asserted that their party is not receiving adequate support from the governing bodies, which they claim is depriving them of their rightful participation and resources. The PPP ticket holders from Punjab highlighted that the issues within their respective constituencies remain unresolved, stressing the need to address the demands of their voters.
“We have received votes and it is crucial to satisfy the needs of our constituents,” the leaders conveyed to President Zardari.
In response, President Zardari assured the PPP Punjab leadership that their concerns would be addressed. He emphasized that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is struggling to govern effectively. “I have now returned to the field myself, and development projects will be initiated from Islamabad to Lahore. No political party can compete with the PPP,” President Zardari affirmed.
The PPP Punjab leadership’s concerns reflect ongoing political tensions and the need for more collaborative efforts to address regional issues and voter demands.
